Kids Marathon Mile at Legoland California
Ready, set, go! The Kids Marathon Mile is proud to be partnering with Merlin's Magic Wand as the official charity partner of this event. A portion of each registration will be donated directly to Merlin's Magic Wand.

LEGOLAND® California is host to a special, 1-mile fun run for kids of all ages and abilities. Before the doors open to the public. Participants can run, walk, skip or stroll, or even be pushed in a stroller or carried on a back as they wind through the park and back out to the finish line. At the finish, registered kids and adults will be presented with a shiny finisher's medal and treated to light refreshments and family-friendly entertainment. The event concludes at 10 a.m. with the opening of LEGOLAND® and SEA LIFE® Aquarium where registered participants ages 3 to 13 can use their complimentary ticket to enter the park for free and up to four (4) adults can join them for 40% off admission.

Race Course
The Kids Marathon Mile will start just outside of the LEGOLAND main entrance along the Tyke Hike. The course will continue into LEGOLAND making a loop of the park, exiting and finishing outside the park along the Tyke Hike. All of the pre- and post-race activities will take place in the lower parking lot of LEGOLAND.
Race Schedule
6:30 AM - LEGOLAND® parking lot opens (free parking at this time with no re-entry)
7 AM - Event day registration opens
8 AM - Mile races start
Start Line Staging
To ensure the safety of all participants and allow for maximum enjoyment, the one-mile races will start using a quick “wave start” according to your child’s age. Corrals for the age groups will be set up near the registration area. Children who want to run together but are different ages, should start with the youngest child’s group. Corrals will be set up for the following age groups: 13 + (youths only), 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5 and 4 & under including families and anyone pushing a stroller or wheelchair.
Please note: No late starters will be allowed, so be sure you’re at the event and in your corral by 7:45 a.m.
