5 Tips on Attending a Monster Jam Live Show

5 Tips on Attending a Monster Jam Live Show

Ever attended a Monster Jam Live show?  We were invited to check out the season opener at Angel Stadium of Anaheim last weekend, it was our first time ever seeing it live. I have a few tips to share with you if you are planning on attending to make your experience a little bit easier.

Get this close!  PIT PARTY: Open from 2:30PM – 5:30PM prior to each Saturday event Exclusive VIP Early Access to Pit Party at 1:30PM for Total Access Pass holders **Event ticket and Pit Passes are required for entry, Pit Passes available to purchase for $10 each

Being our first time ever seeing this show, I wasn't exactly 100% sure what to expect. Watching an event of this sort on T.V and live are way different. The action is fast, the trucks are high flying and the roar of the engines will rock you to the core! Here are my top 5 tips on making it a great day at the stadium for the entire family.

  1.  Bring noise cancelling headphones! I could not even believe how loud the truck were. Our kids ears are very delicate and can make for an uncomfortable time without them. You can pick um very inexpensive ones at your local Home Improvement center or Harbor Freight for just under $5.
  2. Even if you are attending the Pit Party in the day, don't let the warmer weather fool you. Dress in layers and bring a jacket, it gets chilly in the stadium at night. There is also limited food for sale in the Pit Party so maybe bring your own to have in the parking lot or eat before. There is no in and out parking allowed, if you leave you will have to pay parking again (it's $20).
  3. If you are attending the Pit Party before the show (an additional ticket required) bring memorabilia or items you want signed by your favorite driver (souvenirs are also available on site for purchase). The drivers are there with the vehicles for photo opps and signatures.
  4. Before taking your seat for the show, get munchies and beverages ahead of time, the action at Monster jam is fast and you won't wanna miss a thing. There are vendors selling some items in the rows like cotton candy, pretzels and churros.
  5. Restrooms, hit it before taking your seat. The stadium seating can be tricky getting in and out f so take care of business before hand kids.
