Knott's Scary Farm Mazes for 2019

Complete Maze Line up for Knott’s Scary Farm 2019

We are down to the wire as we await the start of this years Scary Farm event to begin. Over the past few weeks several of the returning mazes and scare zones have been revealed and several have been given the axe, did your favorite make the cut? Here is what will be waiting for us in the fog so far!

We are getting 2 new mazes this year, Origins: The Curse of Calico and Wax Works along with Puppet Up! an uncensored live show featuring a combination of improvisational comedy and the magic of puppetry performed by a cast of world-class comedian puppeteers from The Jim Henson Company.

All new for 2019! Origins: The Curse of Calico. Unearth the sinister paranormal activity that plagues the town as Sarah Marshall is put on trial for her suspected crimes of witchcraft. All will be unveiled when the Green Witch rises up and curses the townsfolk, transforming all who have accused her into a wicked horde of malicious creatures with an eternal quench for the living.

New for 2019! Wax Works: Take a closer look at the once prominent plastic surgeon, Dr. Augustus Scratch body of work. His gruesome life-like masterpieces of art are at the cost of his victims as they are submerged into a scorching hot cauldron of bubbling wax. Try to escape his deadly grip or become the newest masterpiece. They are as beautiful as they are terrifying and he is always looking for a new muse to add to his collection. Any takers?

Say Sayōnara to Shadow Lands as it slices it’s way through it’s last showing at Scary Farm. If you are a first timer this maze was one of my favorites when it first debuted. Embark on a quest through a sacred shrine, an ancient Japanese temple and into the midst of the shadow lands as you fight off demon samurais whose souls are cursed to rot within the depths of purgatory.

Last years new maze Dark Entities will return as well as established mazes such as Paranormal, Inc., Dark Ride, Pumpkin Eater and an updated Special Ops Infected. There are still 4 more mazes to be announced along with 1 more show! Check back after August 29th when the rest of the line up will be revealed!

Scare Zones include an expanded Forsaken Lake, The Hallow, CarnEvil, and Ghost Town Streets.

As for shows the always raunchy and popular Hanging will be returning, Conjurers - Magic and Myrth, Awaken The Dead and the all new Puppet Up! Uncensored showing in the Charles M. Schulz Theater. Catch one of three performances a night during Knott's Scary Farm. Intended for mature audiences and is not recommended for children.

Looking to get in on the action, Travel back in time to the dark streets of London as you fend off hordes of the undead in this unique VR experience located in the Boardwalk Area. Time Zombies is an additional cost.

  • Timber Mountain Log Ride will once again be getting a haunt makeover as the Halloween Hootenany featuring a labyrinth of jack-o-lanterns, the Green Witch and the Calico Coffin Creeper Band.

  • Boo-Fet is an add on I highly recommend. Munch with the monsters on a special buffet then get early entrance to select areas of Knott’s Scary Farm. The Knott’s Scary Farm Boo-fet dinner features endless portions of signature Knott’s entrees and desserts with a souvenir cup. Menu includes Knott’s classic such as Mrs. Knott’s fried chicken, a chef carving station, boysenberry pie and more.

Boo-fet diners receive early entry to select mazes and attractions. Boo-fet guests will also have exclusive monster photo opportunities before the park opens to the general public.

  • "Into the Fog” is an art show specially curated for the discerning Scary Farm fan. The show is home to a collection of original art by unique and talented artists from across the country. These artists have drawn inspiration from Knott’s Scary Farm’s rich 47 year history and we’re certain you’ll find an original or print you’ll want to take home with you.

Tickets are on sale now and start at $43 and if you are a passholder they are only $38! Here are some ticket options and my top pick for making the most of your visit.

  1. KNOTT'S SCARY FARM ALL INCLUSIVE TICKET is the way to go if you can! It includes everything! Scary Farm admission, Boo-Fet, Parking, Fright & Fast Lane. $157.99

  2. Top Add-On Boo-Fet $34.99

  3. SCARY FARM ADMISSION + FRIGHT & FAST LANE This option will get thru every maze with time to spare! $125

  4. KNOTT'S SCARY FARM PASS for those who just can’t get enough! This pass gets you into every night of Scary Farm! $100

Here’s my top tip on how to save if you are going with general admission! Ticket prices vary by the day, if you are looking for a deal, pick a weekday in September as those days have the lowest prices. The closer you get to Halloween/Weekends the ticket prices get slightly higher. Weekends in October are the highest. To maximize going with general admission, I would add the Boo-Fet since that will get you a head start on the general crowds to hit the most popular mazes first!
