All Things Beauty and The Beast at Disneyland California

Bonjour, Tiens, Salut from the happiest place on earth! I just love how this franchise creates special ways for their fans to really be apart of it all,it's nothing less than magical! Be Disneyland's guest in welcoming their latest feature film and beloved classic Beauty and the Beast, a favorite of both young and old, it truly is a tale as old as time. 

Now that was a day to remember! We had looked and tried for what seemed forever to get some special time with one of my daughters favorite princess and then it happened! We are looking forward to more opportunities with the additions the park has going on in anticipation of the soon to be released film. Disneyland is bringing Beauty and The Beast to it's fans and visitors before the movie makes it's release on March 17th. Here's how you can experience some of the movie magic up close in several ways at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure... but some are only for a limited time!

Happening over at Disneyland! 

For a limited time starting February 24th, Fantasyland at Disneyland will bring this tale to life with special experiences that celebrate the classic Disney animated feature with special dining options, merchandise, character meet & greets and if you have a flair for the theatre catch a daily showing of the beloved tale..

The Grey Stuff from the Red Rose Tavern. Chocolate Mousse covers a red velvet cake with a raspberry center.

All things aliments (food)

  • Red Rose Taverne – This dining location at the northwest edge of Fantasyland will magically transform from Village Haus Restaurant into a lively French taverne,  featuring quick-service meals perfect for all ages! take in all the beautiful murals depicting scenes from Disney’s animated feature, “Beauty and the Beast,” and experience each room of Red Rose Taverne as it tells a different chapter of the tale as old as time. The menu has transform as well, featuring some of your favorite tastes with a French taverne-inspired twist, as well as new signature beverages. Details to follow on these delicious additions soon.
  • Maurice’s Treats – The celebration continues in nearby Fantasy Faire, where each twist on the menu at Maurice’s Treats will be presented with … well … a twist! And those of you who have been clamoring for a dipping sauce to go along with your tasty twist will be pleased to know that marinara, strawberry and even Grey Stuff dipping sauces will soon be available.

Gens of Beauty and the Beast (people)

  • We all know Gaston loves a taverne, so don’t be surprised if you find him preening around Fantasyland. Stop him and ask him to flex his biceps because we all know he loves that.
  • The Royal Theatre Presents “Beauty and the Beast” – Be sure to drop by the Royal Theatre in Fantasy Faire as Mr. Smythe and Mr. Jones present their take on “Beauty and the Beast” in this daily favorite.

Souvenir (which is memory in French)

Royal Reception – This special merchandise location adjacent to Red Rose Taverne offers keepsakes, apparel and collectibles inspired by both the animated Disney feature as well as the new, live-action film, “Beauty and the Beast,” in theaters March 17.

Meanwhile over at Disney California Adventure!

Now through March 26th get a sneak peek of Disney’s live-action adaptation “Beauty and the Beast” at the Sunset Showcase Theater with 3D special in-theater effects. Featuring an advance look at a scene from the film, along with a display showcasing a collection of props and costume pieces actually used in the film’s production. This special 8-minute preview from Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” will be available at Disney Parks for a limited time through March 26. Enjoy the full feature of this timeless tale “Beauty and the Beast” when the film opens in U.S. theaters in 3D on March 17.
