Carved Returns to Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge in October

Carved will return to Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge on October 11-31, 2021, featuring exciting new displays and experiences. Tickets Go On Sale to Members on September 1 and to the General Public, October 1

Carved is a family-friendly event for all ages. For three weeks in October, thousands of carved pumpkins will line a 1-mile walk through the Camellia Forest and Oak Grove. Along with pumpkins, there will be exciting new oversized sculptures made of sticks and other natural materials. Pumpkin carving demonstrations, the ever-popular pumpkin house, a hay maze, and themed food & beverage will all help to create a fun harvest festival ambiance.

If you are looking for a place to create some fun holiday photos while getting into the spirit of the upcoming holidays, Descanso Gardens should be on your list of must visit places!

“We are thrilled to introduce exciting new additions to this year’s Carved event,” said Executive Director Juliann Rooke. “Visitors can look forward to seeing all kinds of carved pumpkins in the Fantasy Forest, a giant, inflatable pumpkin moon rising over our stately Oaks, pumpkin sea dragons swimming in the pond and other one-of-a-kind photo moments along the way. We couldn’t be happier to bring this beloved tradition back, bigger and better than before.”

Tickets for Carved will go on sale to members on September 1, 2021 and the general public on October 1, 2021. Timed tickets are required for everyone. Carved hours are 6:30pm-10pm, October 11-31, 2021. Members tickets are $25-$28, and non-members, $32-$35 and can be purchased at descansogardens.org.
