The walk ends in the Downtown Disney District, where sponsors, hospital support groups, shops and restaurants have special offers just for walkers. This annual event brings the community together for one single goal, to raise funds for health care programs, education and research for Southern California’s kids.

This year’s whimsical, colorful and beautiful CHOC Walk in the Park medallion was designed by Jeff Granito capturing the essence and magic behind the event perfectly. Registered walkers who raise $275 or more will receive one along with the matching pin. It's not too late to register and start fundraising!  www.chocwalk.org

Hero Up! This year's CHOC Walk in the Park  brings a touching way to pay tribute to the memory of those who can no longer walk the event. Team Carter Strong who participated in several CHOC Walk in the Park events lost his battle with cancer last year and in honor of him and others this blue super hero cape "Walking for my Hero" will be made available 1 per team for those walking for their loved ones who have passed. See site for more details.

CHOC Walk’s estimated 14,000 walkers and 650 teams are participants from across the U.S. and around the world. The Disneyland Resort has always been a part of CHOC Walk, since its inception in 1990. In partnership with the Disneyland Resort, CHOC Children’s has raised over $32 million dollars to date. Event and registration information can be found at www.chocwalk.org and real-time event information can also be found on Facebook and Twitter. #Chocwalk
