Ready or not summer is here. I was offered a Cool Cabanas to review and since we are always running from the beach to the desert, I was happy to oblige. Check out all the "Cool" features below and see if it's something you might want to take on your next day trip.

So what's the verdict? Since it is a given that it works amazingly in the sand (see video below) I wanted to test it out at the park on a grassy location. Once I got the center support into the ground ( took a little work due to our drought conditions where i live) set up was beyond simple and I did it all myself. The quality of the cabana is great, love the dual pockets at each corner for your phone, keys, glasses or water storage. Take down is a breeze too and it all tucks right back into it's carrying case with no problem. I would suggest if your primary use will be in the grass to purchase the corner stakes since sand is what keeps the corners down at the beach. Below are the features I love and why I prefer this to a traditional "easy up" or umbrella.
It was super simple to set up and and tear down without help.
It offers great coverage (more than I was expecting).
It stored back in it's bag easily.
The side pockets that not only assisted in weighing the sides down but offered storage cubbies off the ground that were simple to access.
From the beach to the park, this cabana sets up in both sand and grass (with the use of stakes).
It's super lightweight unlike regular "easy ups"
Gives you a feeling of privacy compared to umbrellas.
