Get Behind the Scenes on the Warner Bros Studio Tour Hollywood

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood is THE way to get up close to the movies and television show we all love and watch. Haven't been on the tour yet? Well there is a lot of "lot" covered on the tour and access to places only the people involved in the movie industry usually have access to. So get ready for your close up, it's never the same tour and depending on your guide you might just get more than you were expecting. Lights, camera, action!

So what's happening currently on the tour? DC Universe: The Exhibit, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Harry Potter, The Car vault aka Batcave featuring original Batmobiles, walk on one of the many soundstages and a trip to Stage 48, whew that's a lot right? Oh and until March 6th you can get up close to one of the exterior locations that little movie La LA Land was filmed on during the Lot tour. Your witty tram driver delivers you to each of these destinations making stops along the way and sharing all the rich history the lots has.  FYI: With actual filming happening all around you, no two Warner Bros. tours are ever alike and are subject to filming schedules.

The tour guides take you behind-the-scenes of this working motion picture studio and guide you through many of the building and exterior sets used for classic films and TV shows such as CasablancaBatman, Gilmore Girls, Friends and more. Consisting of 10 backlots and 30 soundstages, Warner Bros. has made some of the most iconic performances in Hollywood history come to life on the studio’s 110-acre backlot. 

The Picture Car Vault has been transformed into the BATCAVE. For a limited time, you can see all the incredible Batmobiles used in the celebrated film series like the TUMBLER, the BATHAMMER, the BAT-POD, and more. Sorry kids, no test drives.

DC Universe: The Exhibit, featuring the greatest Super Heroes and Super-Villains is now a stop on Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood. This stunning and interactive exhibit is a comic fans dream! Going back to it's beginnings, see with your own eyes the very rare original No. 1 comic book issues of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. A gamer are you? Get your fix on with three of WB Games' most popular DC games: Batman: Arkham KnightInjustice: Gods Among Us, and Lego Batman. Roam this space at your leasure as you are surrounded by authentic props and costumes from "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Suicide Squad" on a rotating basis.

Fun Trivia: The initials "DC" came from the company's popular series Detective Comics, which featured Batman's debut and subsequently became part of the company's name.

Wonder Woman props and original costumes coming July 31st to the DC Universe: The Exhibit

Suicide Squad premiered in New York City on August 1, 2016, and was released in the United States on August 5, 2016, in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D. Following a strong debut that set new box office records, the film grossed over $745 million worldwide

Upstairs from the DC Exhibit: Get an an up-close look at authentic props and costumes from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and the beloved Harry Potter films. From the concept art to the final designs used on the set see the detailed costumes of Lord Voldemort and more. Ever wonder what house you would be chosen for? Get sorted into one of the four Hogwarts houses by the magical Sorting Hat right on the spot. I surprisingly got Slytherin , okay okay, I was not surprised one bit. 

For the grand finale of your Studio Tour experience, you’ll visit Stage 48: Script to Screen. This self guided part of the tour puts you in the scenes within this interactive soundstage. Catch up on all the latest chew on the set of Central Perk (Friends), ride a broomstick like Harry Potter with their green screen experience, or if you are up to the challenge, race the streets of Gotham on a Bat-Pod. Keepsake pictures are available for an additional cost and you know you gotta have the pictures for bragging rights.

Join in the movie making magic yourself on Stage 48 by riding the Nimbus 2000 or Firebolt brooms seen in the Harry Potter film series or ride the Bat-pod through the streets of Gotham in our green screen experience just like the actors do while filming.

On the set of Friends: The series finale on May 6, 2004, was watched by around 52.5 million American viewers, making it the fifth most watched series finale in television history

A few things to know before you go:

  • Plan to spend around 3 hours total for your guided and self guided tours.

  • Guests 8 years of age and older are not permitted on any studio tour. Ages 8 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Parking lot is located at 3400 Warner Blvd. Burbank, CA 91505

  • Plan on arriving 15 minutes prior to your designated tour time to give yourself enough time to park and check-in and go through security. Parking is $12

  • Tours depart every 30 minutes and tour hour are 8:30 am- 4:00 pm daily, best to get your tickets online to secure your desired time slot.

  • Photography and video taping are allowed unless stated.
