Go Nuts for The Nut Job 2 Nutty By Nature
This post was made possible with consideration by Warner Bros Studios
Did you see the first Nut Job movie when it was released in 2014? Well if you haven't heard, Surly, Precious, Jimmy and the gang along with some new friends take on the big screen and the biggest "RAT" in Oakton City this August 11th with more action, more suspense and a whole lot of nuts! We were treated to a screening of the movie before it was released and we got to meet several stars from the movie during a special press junket, both experiences were delightful, funny and full of surprises.
Up close and personal, that was how the meet and greet with some of the starts of The Nut Job 2 Nutty By Nature animated film went down. Discussing their roles, their personal life and everything in between, we got a better feel for the actors, there characters and how voice over movies work.
So what's the movie all about? A group of animals are horrified when their beloved park is targeted for demolition by the city's unscrupulous mayor. In an attempt to reclaim their home, Surly the squirrel (voiced by Will Arnett) puts together a scheme to destroy the gaudy amusement park that's been built on the property. This animated sequel also features the voices talents of:
- Andie voiced by Katherine Heigl
- Precious voiced by Maya Rudolph
- Mr. Feng voiced by Jackie Chan
- Mole voiced by Jeff Dunham
- The Major voiced by Bobby Moynihan
- Jimmy voiced by Gabriel Iglesias

Just like the first Nut Job movie, we went nutty for The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature. It has a great message of inclusion, the importance of friendship and to never stop fighting for what you believe in no matter how small you are or how big the problem might be. Grab the family, some popcorn and go see it this weekend, we loved it!~ Cat
