Getting back to their roots, the newly re-branded Look form eras ago looking fresh as their food tastes!
We have a ton of fast food choices in SoCal, most are not great in quality and your guess is as good as mine as to what's all in it. As for Mexican fast food, we really don't have too many places that stand apart and less that I would actually feed my family. Enter Jimboy's Tacos! I was invited to taste several menu items at the latest Jim Boys Tacos location in Anaheim. I had several reasons I was interested in trying them, read about this addition to the Jimboy's Tacos family and enter for your chance to have some tacos on them!
Location, Location, Location! Jimboy's is located on the property of our favorite staycation hotel Grand Legacy at the Park and directly in front of Disneyland, making this place a no brainer for me. Food at the parks and Downtown is great but when you are just looking for a quick bite and wanna get back to playing.... this is a great pick! For those of you who haven't tried their food, you are in for a taste bud awakening!
Their soft AND crispy ground corn tortilla shell is griddled then lightly dusted with parmesan cheese.
Jimboy's has been around since 1954 and is now serving up taco goodness at 42 locations within California, Texas and Nevada. Using fresh ingredients and preparing their food from scratch daily and in small batches gives it a real home cook taste. Here is just a sample of their menu and a few of my new favorites.
Spicy Veggie Masala Tacos, filled with rice, beans, lettuce and cheese and a ton of Ol'e kick!
From a la carte Original Tacos like ground beef (really good and they even crisp up the tortilla a bit on the griddle) shredded beef to their Fish and Shrimp tacos, there is bound to be a taco or three you will want to try. They even have a Spicy Veggie Masala Taco, warning- this one packs a serious kick but it's oh so good! They also have PLATES that are combos for those who have to have it all. Don't want to cook or staying in a nearby hotel, bam! Grab a Family Fun Packs that include sides. Headed to the parks early they do breakfast items too. Don't forget Dessert! Their Churros are fresh made and come plain, filled and they also have a Chocotaco! Oh and if you are a tea drinker like me, get their fresh brewed Iced Tea, really good!
And not to worry they have the littles covered too with their Jimboy's Jr. Meals. From Quesadillas, Tacos and Burritos they are all served with a choice of drink, chips or salad and a churro ...because you gotta have a little sweet after a Jimboy's meal right? Oh and if you are a Disneyland AP, ask for your 10% discount!
