Las Brisas Patio Menu

Las Brisas in Laguna Beach New Patio Menu

Looking for a spot with a great view of the California coast? Las Brisas has been a go to destination to locals and visitors alike for many years. Serving up cuisine Inspired by Mexico’s West Coast and prepared with California freshness and innovation, it sits above the beautiful Laguna Beach coastline offering stunning and relaxing views. The building itself dates back to 1938, finally becoming what is now know as Las Brisas in 1979.

We were invited to try the new menu offerings available now to enjoy within the Patio and bar areas of the restaurant and with the stunning weather we were having that afternoon, I went for The Pineapple. This martini is constructed with Hangar One Vodka, pineapple liqueur, and pineapple juice. It's a sipper for sure.

I love Ahi! This Ahi Poki was not only visually appealing it had a nice kick to it via the sriracha aioli. This layered dish was made up with hass avocado, asian pears, jicama and served up with seasoned flour tortilla wedges. Great balance of flavors and textures.

I visit mexico often and love the sea food there! My go to appetizer is always ceviche. The Ceviche at Las Brisas was my favorite of the evening. Perfect size for sharing, it was served with a basket of tortilla chips to scoop up all the fresh Shrimp and Seabass along with the orange, onion, cucumber, cilantro and chile used to pull it all together. I polished this plate off.

Keeping within the theme we tried the Ahi Poki Tacos, they use rice paper shells in place of a corn tortilla. Filled with avocado, asian pears, jicama and drizzled with their sriacha aioli. It was a light but filling dinner option, perfect for sharing. Accompanied by their fresh made cucumber salad, I enjoyed these tacos with a cold one. Warning: These tacos are packed with tuna, super filling and so worth the visit!

Another plate we tried was this Ahi Burger served on a delish toasted brioshe bun. Grilled pineapple gave this burger a twist with an additional boost of flavor from the horseradish aioli. Paired with a cucumber salad this makes for a great meal.

The new patio menu also has other offerings besides sea food like Skirt Steak, Citrus marinated Chicken Tacos and even Charred Artichokes. Happen to be down by Laguna Beach or looking for a great place to enjoy the fresh ocean air, Las Brisas might need to be on your to visit list. Note that the patio is first come first served seating and the patio menu items are only available in the bar and patio. This place gets packed, so get there early. I would totally recommend ordering several plates and share to enjoy a larger variety. Ever been to las Brisas before? I'm curious about their restaurant menu now!
