Peanuts Celebration at Knott's Berry Farm
The Peanuts Celebration at Knott's Berry Farm is back with some fun additions happening Weekends now thru March 10th and Presidents Day.
Knott's Berry Farm kick started their Seasons of Fun with the return of it’s Peanuts Celebration happening weekends now through March 10th plus President's Day. We were there opening day to check out all the returning fun along with a few new additions. I have all the details, some tips to help you see and do it all and our top picks from the day.
First of all I must say love how Knott's plans it's events. From Merry Farm to Scary Farm they always have a great park map printed out to help you plan and see it all. With that said, be sure to grab a map that will show you where al the special Peanuts Celebration "zones" are as you pass the turnstiles. Also be sure to get the daily show schedule or better yet download the Knott's APP they have a section dedicated to the Peanuts Celebration with all the info there as well.
Love the Boysenberry Festival? Then you won’t be disappointed in the offerings during the Peanuts Celebration. Good luck deciding between all the limited food offerings because they have so many delicious choices. Best part, follow my thinking here people....they are spread around the park so you could argue the walk between stops will work off the calories. See the entire list of treats and their locations below or better yet bookmark this post or print out the complete Food Guide below! Tip: A fun one for the kids, let them decorate their own kite shaped cookie, it comes with all the fixings and a cute Peanuts bucket you can take with you all for only $3.29.
Updated January 25th, 2019
Good News!
Due to popular demand two additional dates, Monday, February 11th and Friday, February 15th have been added to the Knott's Berry Farm Peanuts Celebration date lineup!
Our top picks for all ages:
The Sketch School located in the Birdcage Theatre in Ghost Town. Grab a sketch pad, paper, pencil and create your own masterful portrait. No drawing skill are necessary and I bet you will be surprised just how easy it is! Check show times and plan a visit, characters to be sketched will vary. This activity lasted around 15 minuets and is perfect for the entire family to get in on.
Discoteca de Silencio: Located at the Fiesta Plaza Stage. Join up to 250 dancers listening to their choice of 3 music styles Latin, Techno or Top 40’s. The kicker is when the DJ takes over everyones headphones creating a mass simultaneous dance party only the participants can hear! Parents can get out on the dance floor, teach their kids a few smooth moves or watch from the sidelines, either way it’s a blast for everyone.
Visit to the Livery Stables. I never pass up a chance to be around animals and living in the city many of our kids don’t get the chance that often either. Plus piglets are a riot to watch as the run and roll around within their pen!!!!
He’s back! Pig Pen can be found in the Livery Stables within Ghost Town with a few of his friends. Get up close to the cutest baby piglet and horses. Keep your eyes peeled for Betty the Mule strolling around Ghost Town, she’s such a sweetie and loves to be pet.
Camp Snoopy is the place to be for several reasons. Besides the perfect size attractions for your little peanuts, they have roaming characters like Peppermint Patty, a HUGE character photo opportunity that you can step into with the entire Peanuts gang and some very cheeky balloon quotes to interact with. The Grand Sierra Railroad in Camp Snoopy also got a huge overlay with the addition of numerous Peanuts scenes. Great ride to take a break on and enjoy with the entire family.
There are several new shows and activities that were added to this years event. Best part, you don't have to line up super early and they are just the right amount of time to keep your kids engaged and entertained.
NEW! Space Beagle~ Camp Snoopy Theatre
NEW! Spike’s Discoteca De Silencio~ Fiesta Plaza Stage 5pm till closing.
Other entertainment includes Peanuts Cowboy Jamboree with Linus and Franklin in Calico Park where your kids can be apart of the fun and Woodstock’s Birds-Eye View aka The Sky Cabin takes you nearly 300 feet into the air, now that’s a view fit for a bird.
