Splitsville Luxury Lanes Rolls into the Downtown Disney District

Splitsville Luxury Lanes Rolls into the Downtown Disney District

The landscape of the Downtown Disney District is changing rapidly and the latest big hitter to join the mega entertainment and shopping corridor is the family owned Splitsville Luxury Lanes. Offering 20 lanes of bowling intermixed within their 40,000 square feet, Splitsville promises amazing views of Downtown Disney during the evening as well as a clear view to the Disneyland fireworks. Family friendly bowling is back and is a great addition to the Disney Downtown District.

Hand painted murals with a California theme at Splitsville Luxury Lanes Anaheim

Overall vibe: The retro architecture and decor is perfect. All of the murals featured are hand painted and 100% Californian in theme! Throughout the spaces you will find the use of different textures and finishes creating a very slick yet warm environment, a huge accomplishment when filling up a space a big as Splitsville.

Here's a little info before you go:

Oh boy! Mickey and Minnie Bowling Balls

  • Bowling prices are per person per hour and includes shoe rentals.
  • Live band featured daily
  • 40,000 sq' of restaurant and bowling lanes
  • Fresh cut sushi and open kitchen concept
  • Outdoor patio with fireplace and comfortable lounging areas
  • Premium cocktails and beverages
  • With the purchase of $20 guests receive a 4 hour validation stamp good at DTD parking.
  • Gift Cards are avaliable

This isn't average alley! Breaking the mold by breaking up the space, Splitsville's Luxury Lanes  spread out and grouped the lanes into smaller pairings. By doing this it creates a quieter and more intimate experience for you and your party. Long gone are the hard plastic seats and lack of tables. Each lane has it's own large table, stools and comfy banquet seating. Automated scoring, bumper guards which are programed and pre set upon arrival if desired. The open concept and multiple levels visually breaks up the space while keeping it's overall layout perfect for conversing, visiting with larger groups and is set up for families of any size.

Oh and as for the food, does your local alley serve up fresh cut sushi? This is a huge upgrade from the normal fare found most bowling establishments. Offering everything from appetizers to sushi rolls along with full on entrees, the menu has a lot to choose from. I had the Grilled Avacado and Ahi Tuna, perfect for sharing and oh so fresh! They also have some seriously hooked up mega burgers and pizzas for those looking for some no nonsense choices.

Their full menu can be found here:  Splitsville Menu

Bowling rates at Splitsville Anaheim

  • Bowling, what does it cost? We were able to play 3 games in the span of an hour which broke down to $5 a game and allowing $4 for the shoe rental. For the level of service, the overall experience and location I feel it's pricing in on point and well worth the cost.
  • Food: They have a great selection to choose from and most offerings look very "split-able".
  • Annual Passholders: You get a 10% discount (excluding alcohol) all day, every day.

Family owner and employing locals, Splitsville Luxury Lanes has 6 locations across America and strive to provide fresh food within a family friendly location, it's a perfect match for DTD. We had a blast checking out Splitsville Luxury Lanes and would definitely recommend it for families, couples and friends as a fun way to disconnect and grab a bite to eat.

Bringing family fun back! To those who say they think the cost to bowl is a bit high, I give you this comparison. Going to a matinee showing of a movie can be as little as $7 but that same movie can run you $18-$20 depending on the time and location.... for the same movie. This is not your average alley by any stretch and the best addition to DTD in a very long time in my opinion.

Upstairs dining/bar area with amazing views of Downtown Disney District

Heading to Splitsville, set up priority bowing and receive the next available lane (good for groups of 8 or less and must be set up 24 hours in advance). Groups of 9 or more can also reserve a lane for a flat fee and a window of time (open-4pm or 4pm-close M-F and open-close on weekends). My recommendation if you are planning on eating a full meal, do that first then hop onto your lane so you can get the full time you are paying for and focus on beating your opponent. Having drinks or appetizers, go ahead and do that right at your alley table. Run out of time during a heated game? Just have more time added and have fun!

Almost forgot! Splitsville is autism friendly when it comes to the overall experience. With the lane set up in small groups it keeps the noise level way down. The music level is perfect and having the bar, dining and play areas broken up keeps the focus in your lane. My girl and her friend both enjoyed bowling here and had zero issues with the noise or being overly stimulated.

We really enjoyed checking out Splitsville Luxury Lanes, the food was great, service and staff were very friendly and on it! The space is way cool and why not rediscover bowling with your kids or take a date for a friendly game! Bottom line... we will be back!
