The Lego Ninjago Movie Hits Stores December 19th

The Lego Ninjago Movie Hits Stores December 19th

This is a sponsored post for Warner Bros. Pictures.

We love all things Lego and my girl is a huge fan of Ninjago so when the movie was released this past summer it was a must see! Just in time for the holidays, The Lego Ninjago Movie is being released on DVD and Blu-Ray December 19th and would make the perfect stocking stuffer! Miss it when it was in theaters, I've got the run down on the movie, a copy for one of my readers and some fun coloring activities you can print out.

Our thoughts: This Lego movie is another hit in our book! Using Stop Motion Animation Techniques and voiced by some of todays leading actors, we loved it from start to end. This is not your average kids movie, a lot of the humor is directed for the parents watching but is equally entertaining for all ages. My girl couldn't stop laughing and the great thing is you don't have to be familiar with the Ninjago franchise to enjoy this movie. Oh and Jacki Chan as Sensi Wu was hilarious.

Movie synopsis: Hi-Yah! The battle for NINJAGO City calls to action young Master Builder Lloyd, aka the Green Ninja, along with his friends, also secret ninja warriors. Led by Master Wu, as wise-cracking as he is wise, they must defeat the evil warlord Garmadon, who also happens to be Lloyd's dad. Pitting father against son, the epic showdown tests these fierce but undisciplined modern-day ninjas as they learn to check their egos and pull together to unleash the inner power of Spinjitzu.

Staring the Voices of: Jackie Chan (“Kung Fu Panda,” The Karate Kid”) stars as Master Wu; Justin Theroux (“Magamind 2,” “The Leftovers”) is Garmadon; Dave Franco (“Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising”) plays Lloyd; and Olivia Munn (“X-Men: Apocalypse”) is Lloyd’s mom, Koko. Making up the secret ninja crew, Fred Armisen (“The Jim Gaffigan Show,” “SNL”) voices Cole; Abbi Jacobson (“Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising”) plays Nya; Kumail Nanjiani (“Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates”) is Jay; Michael Peña (“Ant-Man,” “The Martian”) is Kai; and Zach Woods (“Silicon Valley”) voices Zane
