Universal Studios Hollywood Pass Holder Bonus Days

Universal Studios Hollywood Pass Holder Bonus Days

After being closed for over a year, Universal Studios Hollywood finally has a reopening date. If you are a Pass member there are some important things to know about planning your next visit, how long your pass will be extended and when payments will resume. All the following info can be found on the USH website under their FAQ’s section if you need further clarification.

To accommodate Universal Studios Hollywood Pass Members during their initial reopening phase, the park is introducing “Bonus Days” for Pass Members on select days between Thursday, April 15, 2021 and Sunday, May 16, 2021. During this period, all Pass Members will be required to make an advanced reservation for a Bonus Day before their visit. Blackout dates specific to your Pass will not apply with a reservation, however, be aware that reservation capacity will be limited and subject to availability, and will vary by date.

While in this reopening “Bonus Days” period, the time will not count against the term of your Pass. At the conclusion of this period, the expiration date of your Pass will be extended by the number of days the park has been closed including the additional “Bonus Days” period. (The method of how your time will be extended may vary depending on whether or not you purchased your Pass using FlexPay.)

You may resume regular use of your Pass in accordance with its terms beginning on Monday, May 17, 2021. You will receive a new printed pass upon entry to the Park at the time of your first visitation on or after May 17, 2021, which will include your new Pass expiration date.

When reservations open for the reopening “Bonus Days” period, Pass Members will be eligible to make one reservation per day beginning at 12:01am each day. Reservation capacity is limited and subject to availability; first come first served.

FlexPay Monthly Members on the monthly auto-renewal program (after year 1 of their contract):
Monthly billing of your Flexpay Monthly Pass(es) has been paused since March 21, 2020 in order to implement an extension of time for the remainder of the theme park closure. Once the theme park reopens and the reopening “Bonus Days” period has concluded, payments will resume and continue on a normal monthly schedule thereafter until you cancel your Passes, effective at the end of a monthly billing cycle. That payment date after park reopening and conclusion of the “Bonus Days” period will become your new billing date going forward. If before March 21, 2020 you had already completed any payments that cover time while the theme park has been closed, the number of days you paid for during park closure will be credited as an additional extension of time on your Passes at the end of the park closure and reopening “Bonus Days” period, before monthly billing resumes. Pass extensions will not alter the benefits and restrictions applicable to the Pass type.

For Passes that were paid in full at the time of purchase (not on FlexPay):
For all active passes with an expiration date of March 14, 2020 or later, at the conclusion of the reopening “Bonus Days” period (starting May 17, 2021), Passes that were paid in full at time of purchase will automatically receive an extension for the remaining duration of the Pass term. Pass extensions will not alter the benefits and restrictions applicable to the Pass type.
