Horror Made Here: Twilight Tour and Screening + Giveaway!
Looking for a unique and spooky way to celebrate the Halloween season? I was invited to get a sneak peek at the Warner Bros. Studios First ever Halloween themed tour Horror Made Here, let me just say.... gore and scare fanatics, it's the perfect way to spend the evening. Get up close to some of Hollywood's most classic and iconic horror set locations within the Warner bros. 110 acre studio and back lots. Read all the details here on this limited 2 night engagement and how you can attend.
Horror Made Here! Friday October 28 and Saturday October 29 get an exclusive tour of the exterior sets of movies and shows like "Gremlins", "House of Wax", "True Blood", "The Lost Boys" and "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane". After your tram tour you will be delivered to watch a special screening of The Conjuring (Oct. 28) or The Conjuring 2 (Oct. 29) while enjoying movie themed refreshments and snacks. Afterwards you will have access to Stage 48 to get up close with tons of movie props and costumes within the very interactive script to screen experience offered. Currently featured is a barrage of Dc Universe props and costumes including Batman V Superman and the Suicide Squad. Don't miss out on huge fun photo op by having your head served up on a platter.
You are gonna want to take a partner with you to this tour! The Studio 48 photo ops alone are really cool and worth the trip just on their own. I will say the Twilight Tour on the tram was my favorite part of the evening. I'm a history buff so hearing all the stories about ghost sightings, the history of the lot and the bumps in the night stories passed down from the night guards was a highlight for me. Did you know there are catacombs under the lot there at Warner's?
Also included on the tour is a trip to the props department, housing the largest collection of rare antiques from the golden era of film and on all housed within 4 floors, it's quite the collection. After, enjoy the picture car vault which is home to some "super" famous vehicles including Batmans Bat Mobile, the Bathammer from Batman and Robin and the Tumbler from The Dark Knight.
Tickets are on sale now at $75 per person and includes the tours, movie screening and munchies and access to Stage 48. Off site parking is $10 and children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult 21 and over. Please bring valid ID to enter the tour.
So are you a fan of horror films? How about ones that are based off true life events? Muahaha! I've got both The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 DVDs up for grabs for one reader. Enter below and good luck!
Thanks to Warner Bros. Studios for having me, loved the tour, the stories and the spooks!
