Lions, Tigers and Bears Oh My! What a great concept to get families out of the house. Check out this scavenger hunt giving families a fun chance to learn about some of the most beloved animals to walk the earth. Your city Safari is all that and so much more! Get all the details on how to experience this first of it’s kind neighborhood adventure, how you can enter to win prizes and maybe learn a thing or two along the way!

Enjoy a free and Safe, Car-Based Activity Brought to you by two Glendora residents, Eric Elkaim and Realtor Zak Bushey. In the first event of its kind, Your City Safari will offer people in Southern California a chance to take their families out of the house to participate in a safe, free, fun, interactive activity. Your City Safari is the first in a series of community wild animal safaris that people can experience from the safety of their cars. The scavenger hunt-like activity will feature more than 12 wild animal stations that have larger-than-life inflated animals that are up to 15 feet tall that are paired with trivia, prizes, and sponsor specials.

Your City Safari was created to offer families a much-needed break from the Covid-19 lockdown, all in a safe, low stress way. Your City Safari can be done at your own pace and lets families spend quality time enjoying a fun activity.

Here’s how it works: Starting on the kick-off day, participants will be able to download a safari map that pinpoints the location of each wild animal station. Follow the map to visit each station in any order from the safety of their cars. Family members are encouraged to take photos of each location visited in order to complete a checklist to win prizes. Use of a smart cell phone with GPS capability and a camera are recommended for the best experience. The map will show a three-block radius where each wild animal is located. Each animal will be accompanied by a sign with a secret letter in the corner. Gathering all the letters will spell out a secret code. Participants who are stuck finding an animal can ask for a hint by sending e-mail to info@yourcitysafari.com and will receive an immediate response.

Participants who e-mail the completed secret code to info@yourcitysafari.com will be entered to win one of a number of prizes, including Vans shoes, restaurant gift certificates, and even sidewalk chalk. The goal is to try to make everyone a winner. Your City Safari benefits local charities and is made possible by the generous support of the following sponsors: Spaghetti Eddie’s Restaurant, Wahoo’s Fish Tacos, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, SOS Sanitizing, Glendora Chevrolet, Vans Shoes, Outback Steakhouse, ZAK Bushey Realtor, Hint Water, Athens Services, Cold Stone Creamery, B-Man’s Teriyaki and Burgers, and SoCalGas.
