Grand Butterfly Release - May 21 & 22

It's that time of the year! The 20th annual Butterfly Release and Caterpillar adoption. Come watch as hundreds of butterflies will be released into the new Arroyo Adventure Gardens. Release will happen at 2pm each day. Activities during this special weekend include:  drinking nectar like a butterfly, interactive metamorphosis shows, appearances by our roaming Kidspace butterfly character, butterfly-themed story and music time, making wings and antennae to wear, as well as a special musical guest to celebrate the butterflies’ release! Please arrive early to enjoy all of the day's activities and to avoid admission lines.

Witness the magic of metamorphosis by adopting a Painted Lady Caterpillar yourself during Kidspace's Butterfly Season.  Your caterpillar, it's food, and care guide will be $4 in the Busy Bee Learning Store, or $18 for a cup of 5 caterpillars (while supplies last on a weekly basis).
