November Family Fun At Kidspace in Pasadena
Here's the run down for the month of November, and there are even great FREE events for Veterans Day and in honor of National Adoption Month too.
Early Learner Program: Toddler Time, Saturday, November 4, 9:00-10:30am: Join Kidspace to explore art, science and more through song and play! In this preview, you'll get just a taste of how much fun Kidspace has exploring the world in Kidspace's Baby and Me classes, beginning January 2018. For children ages 12 to 36 months. Fee is $30 per child. Register at kidspacemuseum.org.
Free Family Night: National Adoption Month, Tuesday, November 7, 4:00-8:00pm: In support of National Adoption Month, Kidspace is honoring the diversity of families in the community. Enjoy adoption and family themed story times and activities designed to raise awareness and bring families together! Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services will be onsite with informational materials and will host a Q&A session. A local photographer from the Heart Gallery will be onsite with portraits of children currently up for adoption and will discuss donating their time as an artist for this cause. Enjoy a special performance at 6:00pm! Admission to Kidspace is free only during these hours.
Veterans Day, Friday, November 10, 9:30am-5:00pm: US Military/Veterans with ID receive FREE admission for up to 4 guests.
Chocolate Wonders, Saturday & Sunday, November 18 & 19, 10:00am-5:00pm: Celebrate all things chocolate! Visit Kidspace to learn more about chocolate's centuries old history, its connections to cultures, cuisine, and more! Explore how chocolate is made from the cacao tree all the way to the chocolate bar, create chocolate play dough sculptures, make your own Mexican hot chocolate mix and learn what makes this recipe unique. Visit the Aztec Trading Post where you can trade cacao beans for other goods!

In this Spanish immersion preview, you'll get just a taste of how much fun Kidspace has learning about our world in Kidspace's Bebé y Yo classes. Both Spanish speakers and second language learners welcome! For children ages 12 to 36 months. Fee is $30 per child. Register at kidspacemuseum.org.
Mad Science Sunday, Sunday, November 26, 10:00am-5:00pm: You're Invited! Wear your favorite tea party costume and enjoy a kettle of science at the roaming Mad Science Tea Party. Enjoy some delightful demonstrations at the roaming tea carts, make a cup of slime, and join Kidspace for an Ah!Mazing Science Demonstration at 11:45 am, where the Kidspace Mad Scientist will bring some fizz, pop, and bang to the table!
