Spring Inspired March Signature Items at Stacked
Have you visited Stacked this month? Well what are you waiting for, they have some great menu items all inspired by spring! Get your cravings filled from their starters to one of their hand crafted shakes. Come hungry and with friends because you are gonna want to try several of their specials along with your favorites. I stopped in to check out the Monthly offerings and here's what's cooking.
You can never go wrong with wings. Wing It is one of their two choices for wings. Grilled with a medium spice and a smoky flavor with just a hint of sweet chili glaze. Served with baby carrots and ranch dressing. Since hubby has a sensitive tummy, we opted to order them plain. They have great flavor all on their own plug you can get dipping sauces on the side if you like.

I always get a salad at Stacked, reason being you have endless ingredients to choose from on any of their base salads. The March Signature salad is a Wild Arugula Mediterranean Salad. Made with a mix of arugula and spring lettuce, it has artichoke hearts, red and green peppers, grape tomatoes, toasted almonds and feta cheese. The champagne vinaigrette was surprisingly good and not acidic at all.

Okay so this was a first for me at Stacked, pizza! There are always so many yummy things to choose from I just never tried one. The Basil Pesto and Arugula Pizza was super light and huge on taste. I'm not one for deep dish or heavy sauces so this one was perfect for me. Oh and the crust, just the right chew factor and not real thick.

In the mood for something more along a sandwich? The Pesto Chicken Sandwich is topped with Gouda cheese, tomato, wild arugula, basil, pesto mayo and a Parmesan breadcrumb crisp. The brioche bun it is served with was nicely toasted.
Another dish that I honestly so wished I had tried but ran out of room for was the Chicken Pesto Mac N Cheese. Less cheesy than normal mac n' cheese with the use of the Basil Pesto. It has chicken, fresh mushrooms and diced roma tomatoes.

One of the March Signature dessert kinda plays well into the whole St. Patrick's theme as well as Girl Scouts with the use of Girl Scout cookies. The Thin Mint Cookie Shake is just that a shake made with Thin Mint cookies and topped with yet one more Thin Mint for measure. Get it with or without whipped cream.
