Step back in Time at The Koroneburg Renaissance Festival

Stroll along the charming dirt paths of this recreated European village dating back to the 1450-1600 and celebrate the inventions and changes of the renaissance period. The Koroneburg Renaissance Festival uses 9 beautiful acres of the 120-acre park its located on and is the only permanent Renaissance Village in Southern California. Offerings include period entertainment, fine arts and crafts, and delectable food and beverages.

Enjoy five stages of entertainment, featuring plays, music, dancing, comedy and juggling. Be entertained by wandering minstrels, exciting falconry shows, archery competitions, and a traditional school of arts and crafts for children of all ages. Be sure not to miss the jousting and horse competitions hosted by World Joust Tournaments and their amazing trained horses.

Artisans present, sell and demonstrate their handcrafted wares including glass blowers, potters, soap makers, purveyors of fine swords, jewelry, leather, period clothing and many other European merchants offer a wide variety of beautifully crafted wares.

Delicious food and drinks are available. Giant turkey legs, bratwurst, soup, veggies, funnel cakes, ice cream, soda, beer & ale from small local breweries, and much more are offered along with a traditional restaurant called The Wilkommen Inn, and a daily pub crawl event.

New this year to the festival :

  • A Beer Garden, the festival’s second sit down style restaurant with drink service.

  •  Kinderstasse (Kid's Street), which will focus on kid’s activities, entertainment and attractions.

  • The Knight's Castle, erected at the end of the village.

  • The Baron's Tour of the World, leading visitors through free interactive activities all through the festival. You can earn free tickets and discounts on beverages by participating in the tour!

  • Entertainers: Orange County Mermaids

CHILDREN'S EVENTS

  • Moonlight Animal Rescue and Sanctuary

  • Children's Scavenger Hunt - Children can sign up at the Sea Hawks camp, where they'll receive a map of the village and a list of scavenger hunt items. If they can find them all, they can return to the Sea Hawks camp to get some treasure!
