Aquaman Plunges into DC Universe: The Exhibit at Warner Bros Studios Hollywood Creating one of it’s Most Detailed Exhibits to date!
Now open! Aquaman is the latest addition to DC Universe: The Exhibit occupying half of the exhibition space it now shares with the Wonder Woman installation. Fans can get a first-hand look at the intricate details etched in the armored suits of Aquaman, Mera and more. This new exhibit brings to life the visually breathtaking underwater world of Atlantis, home to the heir, Arthur Curry. This is just one of the many stops on the Studio Tour takes during the three hour studio tour.
You had to have seen Aquaman! But if you are one of the very few who haven’t fed into the movies gross of $1,141,961,550 worldwide here’s a little recap of what you are missing! The city of Atlantis, once home to the most advanced civilization on Earth is now an underwater kingdom ruled by the power-hungry King Orm. With a vast army at his disposal, Orm plans to conquer the remaining oceanic people and then the surface world. Standing in his way is Aquaman, Orm's half-human, half-Atlantean brother and true heir to the throne. With help from royal counselor Vulko, Aquaman must retrieve the legendary Trident of Atlan and embrace his destiny as protector of the deep. Family, go figure!
Get up close to many of the iconic movie prop and costumes featured in this multi sensory exhibit. Using actual movie set pieces and props is only one piece of what makes this exhibit the best one to date at Warner Bros Studios. Lighting, sound effects and movie scene renderings come to life with projections creating the feeling of being on the Aquaman movie set! This self guided part of the tour allows you to sit on King Atlan’s throne used in the film. Journey through Atlantis as you relive Arthur Curry’s origin story from the surface world to his reign as King of Atlantis.and grasps the very triton Aquaman Jason Momoa used at two of the films premieres.
Included within this exhibit are the authentic costumes worn by Aquaman (Jason Momoa), King Orm (Patrick Wilson), Mera (Amber Heard), Queen Atlanna (Nicole Kidman), and many more. Fun Fact: Jason Momoa broke the very Trition used in this exhibit over his knee during the movies’ primer in Paris but with a little restoration this iconic piece has been fully restored. Everyday the tour routes change based on productions being filmed on the studio lot. Your tour will visit the backlot exterior sets, a working soundstage, the Batmobile Collection, DC Universe Exhibit, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts and more. Once you’re done with the guided portion of the Studio Tour, you’ll be able to get up close and personal in the interactive soundstage experience, Stage 48: Script to Screen. Here you can take a photo on the Central Perk couch or practice your Quidditch skills via green screen. Before you leave, you can check out the Warner Bros. Studio Store where you’ll find a wide variety of gifts for the TV and film fanatics in your life.
