There's a New Market at Pretend City Trader Joe's
Kids have it so great these days, down to their pretend shopping choices in their own pretend city! Pretend City's market got a make over-take over by Trader Joe's last week. Let your kids explore the shelves and learn through play on how to make better food choices by choosing organic products. Adventurous ones, slip on the ever so festive hawaiian shirts like the ones sported by Trader Joe's employees and finally get the answer to why they ring that bell.
We got a sneak peek at this newly opened exhibit during their media preview, check out all the fun to be had and while you are here, enter to win a family 4 pack to experience it yourself with the kids. If you have yet to discover Pretend City in Irvine, it's listed as a child's museum but what that really boils down to is a completely hands on mini city the kids can explore and make believe to their hearts content. There is so much to see and do from a fire station, to a wharf to a dentist office all with costumes, props and the best part, everything is encouraged to be played with. We have been coming here for over 4 years now, for kids on the autism spectrum, this place is gold! So what was our little checkers favorite part of the new exhibit.... Working the registers, wearing the sweet Trader Joe's shirts and ringing the bell!
